This statement applies to discoverable.ie, operated by Data Vision IT Consulting Limited, registered in Ireland. This website provides automated compliance audit reports for Irish and EU businesses.

2. Our Commitment

We are committed to making discoverable.ie accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as referenced in the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882), which applies to digital services from 28 June 2025.

3. Conformance Status

discoverable.ie is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

4. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved:

  • PDF reports — Audit reports generated in PDF format may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working to improve PDF tagging and reading order.
  • Colour contrast — Some informational badge colours (pass/fail/warning) may not meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio requirement in all contexts. We are reviewing these.
  • Focus indicators — Keyboard focus indicators may not be visible on all interactive elements in older browsers. We are addressing this progressively.

5. Accessibility Features

  • All pages use a single, descriptive <h1> and a logical heading hierarchy
  • Images include descriptive alt attributes
  • Interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • The site uses semantic HTML5 landmarks (<header>, <main>, <footer>, <nav>)
  • Colour is not used as the sole means of conveying information
  • The site is responsive and usable on mobile devices
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
